Adult Lessons

Adult Lessons >> 1 class per week

Beginner Classes (1 hour)

This class is for adults with little or no tennis experience. They will introduce the basic strokes with emphasis on learning proper grips, technique, and court movement in a positive atmosphere.

Mondays >> 6:30 – 7:30 pm
5 lessons costs $90

 

Advanced Beginner Classes (1 hour)

This class is for adults who have developed the basic tennis strokes. They will review proper stroke execution and court movement with an emphasis on consistency and variety.

Mondays >> 6:30 – 7:30 pm
5 lessons costs $90

 

Intermediate / Advanced Classes (1.5 hours)

These classes are structured for those who are familiar with the game and are looking to add new wrinkles with a more upbeat, intensified drilling session to get to the next level.

Mondays >> 7:30 – 9:00 pm
Wednesdays >> 6:30 – 8:00 pm
1 lesson costs $25

Private Lessons

DeKalb Tennis Center employs USPTA and PTR Certified pros with extensive teaching experience. A private lesson with one of our pros is a great way to learn the game or fine-tune your skills. Private lessons should be scheduled 24 or more hours in advance by calling the Pro Shop.

 

$60 per hour or $30 per half hour for one or two people
$66 per hour for three people
$72 per hour for four people


Junior Lessons

Ages 4 – 18

DeKalb Tennis Center participates in the Universal Tennis Academy for juniors. They offer group lessons for children ages 4 to 18 and all ability levels from beginner to southern ranked.

Center uses the Quick Start program as a tool to teach young juniors proper tennis fundamentals in a positive fun environment. This program allows players to play the game of tennis at an early stage of development through a systematic progression of scaled racquets, modified balls, and court sizes.
